When a child is unwanted, abused and neglected it is no surprise they struggle in adulthood. It took Sabine Gedeon a long time to realize that she was replaying her early life in choosing poor relationships, overtaxing herself and repeating what she had learned in her family. Only when she reached the lowest point she had ever experienced, ready to end her life, did an experience of her own higher power, God, begin to lead her to something better. But she still had lots of work to do to fulfill the promise of a life of meaning, satisfaction and wonder. How did she learn to listen to those deep inner voices and how did she cultivate the courage to risk everything to create a life she wanted to live? Join us to find out.
On Good Grief we explore the losses that define our lives. Each week, we talk with people who have transformed themselves through the profound act of grieving. Why settle for surviving? Say yes to the many experiences that embody loss! Grief can teach you where your strengths are and ignite your courage. It can heighten your awareness of what is important to you and help you let go of what is not.
