Lisa Tener is a book coach, author and creativity catalyst, known for helping writers easily access creative flow, free their voice, and write life-changing—and award-winning—books. Her newest book, Breathe. Write. Breathe shares the powerful, ancient practices that have opened her, her clients and students to instant creative flow and inspiration to produce their best writing. Most people experience some struggle with writing—whether they get stuck, or can’t summon the muse at will, or inspiration seems to dry up at times. Lisa has spent over two decades helping writers and anyone who wants to write—professionals, beginners and dabblers alike—to access their creative potential. Lia's breakthrough in Qigong class—when she discovered that the mindful movement practices and deep breathing relaxed her mind and body, initiating a state of creative flow. She often found herself pausing the practice to jot down new ideas that flowed effortlessly. Lisa began deeper study of qigong under Qigong Master Robert Peng, earning teacher certification to teach RP QIgong’s Empowerments and Happiness Qigong. She brought these practices to her writing with students and private clients, She will discuss how using breath an ancient practices can help writing become easier, more inspired and add to your creative life!

Lisa Tener is an award winning author, book writing and publishing coach, and speaker. Lisa is known for helping writers easily access creative flow, free their voice, and bring forth their best work. She is the author of Breathe. Write. Lisa served on the faculty of Harvard Medical School’s CME publishing course for over a dozen years.
